This roadshow aimed topromote the upcoming Lifelong Learning (LLL) modules offered by the Master of Public Health (MPH)programme to personnel of the Ministry of Health. Dr. Nik Tuah, MPH coordinator of PAPRSB IHS delivered welcoming remarks and provided an overview ofUBD and the MPH programme. A current MPH student, Ms. Amalie Chin shared her learning experience onthe LLL modules. A presentation on each of the five LLL modules to be offered was also delivered by therespective module conveners: (1) Health Services Policy and Management by Dr. Nik Tuah, (2) Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology and Control by Dr. Shahrimawati Sharbini, (3) Communicable DiseaseEpidemiology and Control by Dr. Li Ling Chaw, (4) Statistical Methods in Public Health by Dr. Hj MuhammadAssyafie Hanif bin Abdul Rahman and Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Ayub Sadiq and (5) Maternal and ChildHealth Nursing by Dr. Sarena Hj Hashim and Assistant Professor Dr. Khadizah Hj Abdul Mumin. Ministry of Health personnel from various departments and districts attended the roadshow. There wereconsiderable interest in the blended learning approach of the LLL mode, in particular, the flexibility ofstudents to study at their own pace outside the classroom setting.
