T H E 8 T H A S E A N M E D I C A L D E A N S ' S U M M I TA N D T H E 4 T H A S E A N S T U D E N T S 'C O L L A B O R A T I V E P R O J E C T A T I H S Founded by 12 higher education institutions in ASEAN countries, the 8th ASEAN Medical Deans'Summit (AMDS) and the 4th ASEAN Students' Collaborative Project (ASCP) were hosted byPAPRSB IHS, UBD from the 23rd to the 24th of August 2019. The theme of this year's meetingwas "Inter-Professional Education and Mental Health Issues", and aimed to provide a platformfor the sharing of views, practices and advances in inter-professional education and mentalhealth issues within the ASEAN region. The meeting also covered discussions on the quality ofmedical education across ASEAN countries, professional training following graduation, and thepromotion of research culture & international collaboration amongst AMDS members. Concurrently, the 4th ASCP was held to showcase and highlight community projects conductedby medical, dental and health science students from AMDS member universities.
