The Ceremony took place at the 20thInternational Nursing Ethics Conference and the 5th ICE Conference at the University ofSurrey, Guildford, United Kingdom on the 24th of July, 2019. The observatory is a leading centre that highlights the importance and complexity of careactivities in health and social care and supports innovative and effective interventionsthat develop ethical care practices. With the award, Dr. Yusrita now joins a distinguishedlist of nurses who have shown exceptional levels of care and dedication to people in need. In her acceptance speech, Dr. Yusrita conveyed her gratitude for this extraordinary gift.She dedicated the award to all nurses in Brunei who continue to strive and provide betterand more sensitive ethical care in their practice. The award is an opportunity for Dr.Yusrita to continue her determination in engaging nurses to understand the language ofethics and use this body of knowledge to improve the care of patients. As a teacher, Dr.Yusrita hopes to strengthen the critical foundation of addressing ethical inquiries innursing curricula through innovative ethics teaching, including debates. B E Y O N D | J U L .
