Symposium Theme: Advances in Clinical Chemistry & Immunoassay Technologies
20 – 21 June 2026
PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences is pleased to announce the organisation of the UBD-Snibe Symposium 2026 (20-21 June 2026). The symposium focuses on advances in laboratory diagnostics, with emphasis on clinical chemistry, immunoassays, laboratory quality, workforce development, and the translation of diagnostic innovations into clinical practice. It reflects the critical role of diagnostics in modern healthcare, particularly in the management of non-commuicable diseases and quality-driven healthcare delivery.
The programme comprises of:
- An opening keynote address by an international expert from Snibe, an international diagnostics company specialising in clinical chemistry and immonoassay technologies
- Plenary sessions by Snibe, the Brunei Government Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Brunei Darussalam Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists (BAMLS)
- A panel discussion involving industry, clinical laboratories, professional bodies, and academia
- A Snibe technology spotlight
- An interactive session focusing on diagnostics innovation
