About AMDS and ASCP
The ASEAN Medical Deans’ Summit (AMDS) was founded by 12 ASEAN higher education institutions on 17 September 2012, and UBD PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences is honoured to be one of the founding members of AMDS. Initiated and financed by Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, the AMDS was arranged to promote collaboration among leading medical schools in the ASEAN region, to leverage medical education and health systems towards international excellence, and to prepare to work as one community in 2015. One of the successful outcomes of the AMDS is the establishment of the ASEAN Student Collaborative Project (ASCP) in 2016, which further facilitate progress in conducting collaborative staff and student projects, as well as facilitate discussions on accreditation, quality self-assessment and other action plans.
